Wyoming’s Teton range is home to some of the country’s most spectacular landscapes and darkest night skies. For this workshop we will spend six nights camping at the base of the mountains, waking up for sunrise to chase the perfect morning light and staying up late to shoot an absolutely incredible display of stars. Led by Garret Weintrob and Will Buckley, the trip’s goal will simply be to help everyone on board improve their photography skills while enjoying an amazing adventure in the mountains. With over 25 years of combined experience in the Tetons, guides Garret and Will bring to the tour not only a professional photography skill set, but also an intimate knowledge of the area.

To Register:

An initial $500.00 USD deposit is required at the time of registration. The final $750.00 USD is due 2 weeks prior to the start of the trip (July 9th). This remaining balance should be in the form of a check paid to “Garret Weintrob” and mailed to P.O. Box 1247, Wilson, WY 83014. The initial $500.00 deposit can be paid below using the “Buy Now” button:

Once the initial deposit is made, we will send you an email with a required liability waiver that you must sign and return prior to trip start.

This is not a “luxurious” trip. We are not going to be staying in nice hotels or eating gourmet meals every day. One of the most important parts of photography is putting yourself in the best position possible at any given time to “get the shot,” which we will try to achieve by spending as much time as possible in the heart of Grand Teton National Park. This means sleeping in tents at designated campsites around the Jackson Hole valley, which may or may not have access to showers. We will be cooking our own meals (except for a few exceptions) and washing our own dishes. Some hikes that we go on may be rather long (up to 10 miles). Expect to be a little bit dirty and a little bit tired by the end of the trip. Our goal is not to provide a comfortable vacation, but rather to put you in the best position to improve your photography skills and have an unforgettable adventure in one of the most beautiful parts of the world.

Cancellation policy:

If for any reason you wish to cancel, the initial deposit will be fully refunded so long as the cancellation is made 2 months in advance to the start of the trip. After this date (May 9th), the initial deposit is no longer refundable. The remaining balance of $750.00 USD is fully refundable up until 3 days prior to trip start, after which it is only 50% refundable. No refunds of any kind can be made after the start of the trip.
